Smith mum on whether Falcons will go after Peppers
After the Pro Football Writers of America meeting (yours truly is second vice president), I caught up with Falcons coach Mike Smith and owner Arthur Blank while they were working radio row. (Missed Thomas Dimitroff, who made his rounds on Thursday).

Falcons Want Tony Gonzalez
The national football post is reporting that the Alanta Falcons are very interested in aquiring veteran Pro Bowl tight end Tony Gonzalez from the Chiefs.It is being reported that the Falcons would be willing to give up their second round draft pick (#55 overall) in order to obtain the services of Gonzalez.
Vick practices, probable vs. Bills
Michael Vick returned to practice Thursday for the first time since twice leaving the Atlanta Falcons' loss last week at Seattle with a tweaked left hamstring.
