Saints deny report that Rob Ryan needs permission to speak to the media
It didn’t take long for the first mini-controversy of the Rob Ryan era to begin.
On the same day the New Orleans Saints announced that the outspoken Ryan would be their new defensive coordinator, a report surfaced that Ryan’s contract states that he would need special permission from the Saints vice president of communication before speaking to the media.
