Brian Urlacher won’t be back with Chicago Bears

After 13 years as the centerpiece of the team, Brian Urlacher and the Bears are parting ways.

“We were unable to reach an agreement with Brian and both sides have decided to move forward,” Bears GM Phil Emery said in a statement. “Brian has been an elite player in our league for over a decade. He showed great leadership and helped develop a winning culture over his time with the Bears. We appreciate all he has given our team, on and off the field. Brian will always be welcome as a member of the Bears.”

the valuable five

Only five to free agency for this 2013.  One was the ex-Dolphins linebacker. Second,  a person who had played 36 games with 189 receptions, 20 touchdowns while averaging 15.3 yards per catch and collecting 128 first downs. Third, future Hall of Fame safety who can still play and would be an outstanding addition to a few teams trying to get over the top. Fourth, a person who stay remains an outstanding backup candidate. Last, who has last three seasons he has  tackles, 39 sacks, and 11 forced fumbles.
