Source: Rams to start work on deal

The St. Louis Rams and quarterback Sam Bradford's representatives are scheduled to meet Friday in St. Louis, according to a league source. It is thought to be their first face-to-face meeting since the Rams selected Bradford with the No. 1 overall pick. The two sides spoke before the draft, but could not complete a deal and tabled talks. Whenever Bradford signs -- and nobody expects him to miss much, if any, training camp -- the deal will include the most guaranteed money in an NFL contract.

Add Ginn to Dolphins on trade block
Dolphins
Coach Tony Sparano has often said the Dolphins are happy with their wide receivers. Well, I guess one would have to define happiness if, as I suspect, the report Ted Ginn is on the trade block is correct.

NFL.com's Jason LaCanfora tweeted minutes ago that Ginn is being shopped by the Dolphins.

My question is who would buy and for how much?

Dolphins to make strong offer for Dansby
Dolphins
Omar Kelly  Sun Sentinel

Call it the changing of the linebackers.

Joey Porter is on his way out the door, and free agent Karlos Dansby apparently is on his way in.

The Dolphins are expected to announce Porter's release Friday, which will save the team $9.5 million over the next two seasons. An NFL source says plenty of that savings will be offered to Dansby.

However, on Friday Dansby and his representatives will be in Davie to work out the details of a lucrative, multiyear contract that the Dolphins hope will end the linebacker's brief free agency. The NFL's free agent signing period begins at midnight.

Veterans in secondary are struggling for Miami Dolphins
DolphinsBARRY JACKSON

As the Dolphins turn the offense over to Chad Henne on Sunday, it would help if the struggling secondary can contain Buffalo's Terrell Owens and Dolphins nemesis Lee Evans. The two combined interceptions by Denver's Andre Goodman and Renaldo Hill -- whom Miami didn't re-sign -- are two more than Miami has.
