Thursday came the news of Chad Ochocinco saying that he wanted to see Terrell Owens sign with the Bengals. During a party in Miami on Friday, which was attended by coach Marvin Lewis, Owens said that he would change his name to Ochouno if he came to Cincinnati .

According to The Sporting News Chris Littmann, who was at the party in Miami, Owens shouted over the P.A. system “Coach Lewis, is this tampering?” Littman also said that Lewis did not appear to talk to Owens during the party.

Either way, it is going to make the four weeks between now and the start of free agency on March 5 interesting. While Ochocinco said on Thursday that he thinks the Bengals receiving corps are fine, they aren’t. Laveranues Coles was a disappointment and there is no credible fourth receiver. That leaves teams to double team Ochocinco and Andre Caldwell at will.
