The St. Louis Rams and quarterback Sam Bradford's representatives are scheduled to meet Friday in St. Louis, according to a league source. It is thought to be their first face-to-face meeting since the Rams selected Bradford with the No. 1 overall pick. The two sides spoke before the draft, but could not complete a deal and tabled talks. Whenever Bradford signs -- and nobody expects him to miss much, if any, training camp -- the deal will include the most guaranteed money in an NFL contract.

Fresno State running back Ryan Mathews, whose stock has risen with strong performances at the Combine and his pro day, could be a target of the Chargers with the 28th overall pick, ESPN reported. After cutting LaDainian Tomlinson, the Chargers need a feature back to team with scatback Darren Sproles.

Merriman isn't pleased with RFA tender

Even though he'll receive the highest possible tender as a restricted free agent, Chargers linebacker Shawne Merriman doesn't seem to be happy with the situation.
