Source: Rams to start work on deal
The St. Louis Rams and quarterback Sam Bradford's representatives are scheduled to meet Friday in St. Louis, according to a league source.
It is thought to be their first face-to-face meeting since the Rams selected Bradford with the No. 1 overall pick. The two sides spoke before the draft, but could not complete a deal and tabled talks.
Whenever Bradford signs -- and nobody expects him to miss much, if any, training camp -- the deal will include the most guaranteed money in an NFL contract.

With Bulger, the Rams have options
Matt Bowen If you are the St. Louis Rams, why make a move with QB Marc Bulger now?

Rams talking Vick
As the Rams continue to be linked to Michael Vick in various reports, it was interesting to hear St. Louis head coach Steve Spangnuolo opt to even dicuss Vick as he made the rounds as the Super Bowl on Friday.
“I’ve got a lot of respect for Michael as a player,” the former Eagles linebackers coach told the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. “Everything I’ve heard out of Philadelphia is kind of good. We haven’t gone down that road in our process yet. I think he’s a terrific player.”

As the Philadelphia Eagles headed into the offseason following last weekend's wild-card loss to Dallas, quarterback Michael Vick made it clear what he wanted in his future.
"Everybody wants to be a starter in this league, and everybody wants to play," Vick told the Philadelphia Inquirer. "That should be your goal. The ambition you should have is to want to be great. ... I know I can still play at a high level."
Is there a 'franchise' QB to be found in Rams future?
By Bill Coats
Marc Bulger's days as the Rams' starting quarterback appear to be numbered.
The team, which hasn't posted a winning record since 2003, will lug a 17-game losing streak to Detroit on Sunday. And Bulger, 32, hasn't been able to reprise anywhere near the production of his Pro Bowl season in 2006.
Up to six groups bidding for St. Louis Rams

The Dave Checketts-Rush Limbaugh group is the only known bidder for the St. Louis Rams. Team owner and chairman Chip Rosenbloom has met with Checketts on more than one occasion and is said to like Checketts and respect him.
Rams loooking at offensive tackle options with their draft pick
The St. Louis Post-Dispatch is reporting that the Rams are looking at their options at offensive tackle with their number two draft pick. Put differently, it appears that the Rams are looking at either Eugene Monroe of Virginia and Jason Smith of Baylor.
