Broncos’ John Fox to name replacement for Mike McCoy by the weekend
When Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning stepped toward the line of scrimmage this season, he often shouted “hurry, hurry” to get things moving. And Broncos coach John Fox plans to do the same when it comes to filling the team’s offensive coordinator position.
According to multiple NFL sources contacted Wednesday night, Fox plans to hire Mike McCoy’s replacement before the weekend. Fox and the rest of the Broncos staff will coach the AFC team at the Pro Bowl next week.
Fox has to be on site in Hawaii on Sunday and is trying to wrap things up before his departure.
